The Edmonds Maestro BAL is a high quality bush fire rated (BAL-40) aluminum roof mounted ventilator designed to manage the heat and moisture that builds up in roof spaces. This ventilator has a maximum capacity of 880 m3/hr and features four speed settings (auto, low, med, high) to choose from. The maestro can be installed on metal or tiled roofs as the dektite provided is a malleable flashing. Available in four colour choices.

The Maestro BAL features an aluminium dome and housing with a built-in spark guard and frame, making the fan suitable for installation in bushfire-prone areas. Its core benefits are that it improves the air quality inside, removes the heat load in hotter seasons, and reduces condensation in the roof space in colder seasons. The Maestro is quiet and efficient with its 35W DC motor and prevents burning embers from entering the roof.

The Maestro has 4-speed settings that can be selected via the transformer (auto, low, med, and high). When choosing the auto setting, the variable speed response will change relative to the temperature and humidity where the speed controller is located. The Maestro fan will turn on at low speed when the temperature hits 30°C, then turn to High speed once temperatures reach 45°C. With humidity, the fan will turn on at low speed when humidity levels hit 65%rH and increase in speed until medium speed reaches 80%rH.

Note: Power cable connected to transformer is approx 1.8m in length. If power point is available to connect to – no electrician is required, however if power point is unavailable – an electrician is required to install.
