The 48″ Polar DC from Hunter Pacific is another excellent option for those looking for a ceiling fan for their bedroom or living space. It has six control speeds via both the included remote and wall controls. The Polar DC is powered by an efficient DC motor that consumes only 26W at max speed while moving an impressive 13,860 m3/hr of airflow.
This fan is controllable with the included 6-speed remote control and wall control. Both controllers can be used in conjunction, featuring a reverse function and a fan on/off function.
This model utilises a DC motor, however it has an internal inverter and is therefore compatible with normal AC electrical systems. It cannot be connected directly to a DC power source.
