The Martec Flow 300 exhaust fan is a round faced exhaust fan to fit into ceilings. It is surprisingly quiet for a fan with extraction capacity of 390 m3/hr.

The Flow Exhaust Fan Series is superbly designed to efficiently move air and steam. This exhaust fan is fitted with a new Turbo Fan Drum Design blade that is highly efficient. It rapidly extracts air and steam from laundries and bathrooms. Its round low profile design looks great in modern homes.The Flow exhaust fan also features an IPX2 water resistant rating, which protects your exhaust fan from dripping water. The Flow ceiling exhaust fan is side-ductable, features a draft stopper and is easy to access. This model of the Flow includes a lead and plug for easy installation for connection to a power socket. If you don’t already have a power point, you will need an electrician to hard-wire the fan.

Mom bulky, very quiet fan

This was for the purchase of a Martec Flow 300. Do not buy this fan. It’s incredibly noisy and the backdraft stopper not only rattles while the fan is running but also clunks incessantly as soon as the wind swings northerly. You’d think these fan manufacturers would put a silicone layer on the stopper to dampen the sound given how widespread the problem is as soon as you do a web search on it.
