The 48″ Polar v2 DC from Hunter Pacific (P3B2571 + DCWC240) is another great option for those looking for a ceiling fan for their bedroom or living space. Offering 9 speeds of control via the included remote and 6 speeds via the wall control the Polar v2 DC is powered by an efficient DC motor that consumes only 25.3W on max speed while moving an impressive 13,860 m3/hr of airflow.
This fan is controllable with the included 9-speed remote control and 6-speed wall control. Both controllers can be used in conjunction with each other and feature reverse function, and fan on/off function.
Please note, that the remote control has 9-speeds and the remote control has 6-speeds. The highest and lowest speed settings for the remote and wall control are both the same – the wall control has fewer intermediary speeds.
This model utilises a DC motor, however it has an internal inverter and is therefore compatible with normal AC electrical systems. It cannot be connected directly to a DC power source.
