The Fanco SM Mixflow 150 (EXHGHF150) is a fantastic value inline fan that is used typically for exhaust, air transfer or other applications that require mechanical ventilation. The SM Mixflow comes by default on the high speed setting which has an impressive extraction speed of 530 m3/hr. To switch to the lower speed, an electrician is required to rewire the fan to the lower speed terminal (this model doesn’t have a speed controller). This will then produce an extraction speed of 410 m3/hr with the added benefit of operating at a reduced noise level.

This fan has not been formally tested for official noise levels.

General Exhaust Fan Advice	It is recommended to achieve a minimum of 15 air changes per hour in a bathroom to remove excess moisture., To work this out, calculate the volume of air in the room ( length x width x height, all in meters) and multiply this by the number of air changes to get the required air volume of the fan.
