1. Which Fanco ceiling fans are compatible with the SMART Module?	The Fanco SMART Module is compatible with selected Fanco ceiling fan models. Please refer to the product compatibility list or the individual fan product page to confirm compatibility before purchasing.
2. Do I need a licensed electrician to install the SMART Module?	Yes. A licensed electrician should install the SMART Module to ensure safe and correct installation. Once installed, you can pair your compatible Fanco ceiling fan with the Tuya Smart app by following the setup instructions.
3.How many SMART Modules do I need?	You only need one SMART Module per compatible Fanco ceiling fan. If you have multiple compatible fans, each fan will require its own SMART Module.
4. Which app do I need to use the SMART Module??	The SMART Module works with the Tuya Smart app. Download the app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, create an account, and follow the pairing instructions to connect your compatible Fanco ceiling fan.
5. What features are available in the Tuya Smart app?	The Tuya Smart app provides a range of convenient features, including: Control your compatible Fanco ceiling fan from your smartphone. Group multiple fans and control them together. Create schedules to turn your fan or light on and off automatically. Adjust fan speed and, where applicable, light brightness and colour temperature. Change the fan direction between forward and reverse. Set countdown timers and create smart automations with other compatible Tuya devices.
6. Can the Tuya Smart app work in tandem with the remote control?	Yes. The Tuya Smart app and the Fanco remote control can be used together, giving you flexibility to control your compatible Fanco ceiling fan either through the app or with the remote control.
7. Can I control multiple fans at the same time?	Yes. The Tuya Smart app allows you to create groups of compatible Fanco ceiling fans so you can control multiple fans simultaneously. During the initial setup, each fan should be paired individually before creating a group.
8. Does the fan still work if the internet or Wifi goes down?	Yes, you can operate the fan through remote which works independently of the SMART control.
9. Does the SMART Module require Wifi and will it work with any home network?	Yes. The SMART Module requires a 2.4GHz Wi‑Fi network for setup and operation. It is compatible with most home networks that support 2.4GHz Wi‑Fi; however, Tuya-based modules are not compatible with 5GHz-only networks.
10. Can the SMART module be retrofitted to a fan I own?	Yes. If you own a compatible Fanco ceiling fan, the SMART Module can be retrofitted. Installation must be carried out by a licensed electrician, as the module is installed within the fan’s receiver housing, as shown in the product images.
