This all-in-one kit comes with a high airflow inline fan for roof space installation, a stylish round frameless vent, an external eave vent, and flexible ducting to link it all together. It also includes a backdraft shutter to prevent warm air from escaping and cold air from entering the house.
The fan has a built-in speed switch, so you can easily choose between high and low settings.
Inline exhaust systems allow high volumes of air to be ducted outside instead of into the roof space.

The flow of air is as follows:
Internal ceiling vent – inline fan – back draft shutter – eave vent.

Installation
The kit is intended as a “do it yourself”, and the fan can be plugged into an available power point in the roof space (connected to a switch in the room). This is usually available in bathrooms, toilets, and the like, or an electrician could install it independently of the system installation.
How to calculate the required air volume
For good ventilation, it is recommended to achieve 15 air changes per hour in a bathroom, toilet, laundry or similar. To work this out, calculate the volume of air in the room (length x width x height, all in meters) and multiply it by 15 to get the fan’s required air volume. This will be adequate in most situations; however, if your bathroom has a lot of glass, you take longer or hotter showers, or you want to reduce steam and moisture even further, it’s best to choose a fan with at least double the recommended capacity.
