Round Frameless Inline Fan Kit with Roof Vent – Shale Grey 150mm

This all-in-one ventilation kit features a powerful, high-airflow inline fan designed for discreet installation within your roof cavity. The package includes a sleek, modern, frameless vent, a durable, low-profile roof outlet, and flexible ducting for a seamless setup. For maximum energy efficiency, the built-in back-draft shutter prevents heat loss and stops cold outdoor air from entering your home.

The included inline exhaust fan features an integrated speed controller, giving you the flexibility to choose between high and low-speed settings with ease.

By using an inline extraction system, you can efficiently exhaust large volumes of steam and moisture directly outside, protecting your roof space from dampness and mould buildup.

The flow of air is as follows:

Internal ceiling vent – inline fan – back draft shutter – roof vent.

Installation

This DIY-friendly ventilation kit is designed for a straightforward setup. The fan comes ready to plug into a standard power point located in your roof space (typically connected to a wall switch). If a power point isn’t already available in your bathroom, toilet, or laundry roof cavity, a licensed electrician can easily install one for you.

How to calculate the required air volume

For good ventilation, it is recommended to achieve 15 air changes per hour in a bathroom, toilet, laundry or similar. To work this out, calculate the volume of air in the room (length x width x height, all in meters) and multiply it by 15 to get the fan’s required air volume. Note this will be adequate in most situations. We recommend that those clients who have a lot of glass or have warmer, longer showers or simply prefer a minimum of steam/moisture get a fan with double or more the recommended capacity.
