Love my new Fanco DC Horizon SMART ceiling fan. We were looking to replace our 25 year old ceiling fan that was on its last legs, After reading through the recent Choice review on ceiling fans, in which the DC Horizon was among the top rated recommendations but without the eye watering price tag, my search was over.
The digital controller technology that allows the fan to be operated by both a stylish wall controller and a remote is a bonus The smart home features make this an excellent choice for most situations. It’s also rated for indoor and coastal verandah installations.
We have been running the fan in reverse during the cold days in Melbourne, and this has allowed us to lower the thermostat by 1.5⁰, saving around $1 per day overall, although it’s only been around a month of comparisons.
We highly recommend this fan without hesitation.
